AT Telal North Coast / Project Scope: Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape design / Client: Private Individual
A beach front summer house that provided an entertainment hub for its owners. Restricted with size, the owners wanted a space that hosted guests during the day and night. The interior modifications transformed the space into a gallery- like space with sufficient negative space for maneuvering detailed with the repetition of metal and wood frames that defined the existing spaces. Direct illuminance was the governing factor in the visibility of a collection of artworks of sculptures, paintings and wall rugs. The entrance flooring was the artwork of the living space that resided amidst a neutral background to enhance the entertainment environment as soon as you enter the residence. The outdoor design was to enhance the concept in the interiors by maximizing hardscape areas and increase level of illuminance on them.
